Celebrating the BBC production of ‘SAS: Rogue heroes’

As the creative studio commissioned by Bare Arms to create a range of designs to celebrate their involvement with the filming of SAS: Rogue Heroes, we were inspired by the thrilling and historical nature of the series. Our designs aimed to capture the spirit of the show, the bravery of the characters, and the intensity of their missions. Here's how we approached the project:

Design Concept:

Our design concept focused on creating a visual identity that combined elements of military aesthetics with a contemporary and dynamic style. We aimed to evoke a sense of adventure, courage, and the daring nature of the Special Air Service. The designs would serve as a tribute to the real-life individuals and their remarkable stories.

Logo Design:

For the logo, we crafted a bold and powerful emblem that incorporated elements symbolising both the SAS and the heroic nature of the characters. The logo featured a stylised silhouette of a scorpion within a wheel, representing the adaptability, mobility, bravery, and resilience of the team. We used strong typography to display the name "Bare Arms Desert Group - Rogue Heroes" alongside the emblem, creating a visually impactful and recognisable brand mark.

Colour Palette:

We selected a monochrome colour palette that reflected the intensity and seriousness of the subject matter. Deep shades of grey, representing camouflage, shadows, and the military, were used to convey energy, passion, and the risks undertaken by the characters. The colour palette aimed to evoke a sense of suspense and captivate the audience's attention.

Typography:

To reinforce the show's historical context and maintain a connection with real-life accounts, we opted for a classic yet contemporary typeface. The typography showcased a balance between elegance and strength, representing the characters' courage and the show's authenticity.

Illustrations and Graphics:

We incorporated illustrations and graphics inspired by the series, namely the iconic Jeep with twin Vickers Class K machine guns mounted on the passenger side.

Overall, our designs aimed to honour the real-life heroes and their extraordinary achievements while capturing the essence of SAS Rogue Heroes as a thrilling and emotional series. The range of designs provided a cohesive and engaging visual identity for Bare Arms' involvement, amplifying their connection to the show and generating excitement among fans and viewers.
